On 23 November 2020, ESDRC organized an interaction program at Bijouri. Honorable Member of National Assembly and member of Sustainable Development and Good Governance Committee of National Assembly Nepal Mr. Jag Prasad Sharma was the Chief Guest of the program who on his talk focused on need of active participation of community forest user groups
on biodiversity conservation.

Mr. Dilli Bahadur Raut, president of ESDRC was the chairperson of the program. Representative from Forest sub-division Office, Bijouri Mr. Bir Jung Oli, Project Officer from Bird Conservation Nepal Mr. Bhupal Nepali, Ward committee member of Ward no. 18, Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city Mr. Buda Magar, Editor of Sakshikhabar newspaper Mr.Rakesh Basnet and Chairpersons of ten community forest user groups in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city put their views on role of community forests in biodiversity conservation and
an urgent need of biodiversity conservation in Dang district. Mr. Deependra Lamichhane,Program Coordinator at ESDRC hosted the program.
