On 21 March 2021, Honorable Member of Federal Parliament and former Speaker of Federal Parliament of Nepal Mr. Krishna Bahadur Mahara inaugurated newly established “Biodiversity
library” at Tulsipur Sub-Metopolitan City ward no. 18, Hemantapur in a ceremony.

The “Biodiversity library” was established by ESDRC with the financial supports from GEF-SGP, UNDP-Nepal, Parliament member development fund Nepal (Krishna Bahadur Mahara) and Bird
Conservation Nepal. Mr. Mahara on his speech praised the contribution of ESDRC in improving livelihoods of local communities, organic farming and biodiversity conservation and put his
commitment towards supporting ESDRC for its future works on environment conservation. Mr. Mahara also observed newly constructed building for the treatment of injured wildlife.
