On 17th November 2020, ESDRC organized an inauguration ceremony of magazine “Rapti Prayawaran Sandesh” with the financial support from UNDP/GEF/SGP at Hemantapur, Dang. Chief guest of this program Honorable Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Shankar Pokharel inaugurated the special issue of “Rapti Prayawaran Sandesh”- Biodiversity Information. Honorable Member of Representative Sujita Shakya and Respected Mayor of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan city Ghanshyam Pandey added value to this program. Representatives from local government and community forests of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan city ward no. 18 and 19 and media persons also took participation in the program. This special issue of “Rapti Prayawaran Sandesh” contains information about 112 species of birds, 152 species of plants including 44 species of medicinal plants and 12 species of mammals that are found in forests of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan city ward no. 18 and 19.
